1nd Annual Creating Change Campaign Gala

MS Awareness

The Alabama-Mississippi Chapter works to improve the quality of life for approximately 6,300 people affected by MS in Alabama and Mississippi.  On Saturday, March 14, 2015, I hosted a Black Tie Gala with a Silent Auction to join the movement toward a world free of Multiple Sclerosis. My celebration was an introduction to the third decade of my life, but more importantly a surge of efforts towards the awareness and research development of those affected by MS.  The night began with photo opportunities along the red carpet that lead to the silent auction. The auction displayed four phenomenal pieces of artwork by Jackson, Mississippi’s own, Ayatti Hatcher and Christopher Windfield. Immediately following, cocktail hour with DJ PM and DJ JoNasty preceded a delectable dinner and the fundraiser program. The event was hosted by Terryal ‘Teezy’ Thomas. I along with Mandy Ferrington, AL-MS Chapter of MS, and LaQuita Hatcher addressed Multiple Sclerosis awareness and the importance of fundraising for those affected.  Many came out to support the 1st Annual Creating Change Campaign. I would like to thank DJ PM, DJ JoNasty, Terryal ‘Teezy’ Thomas, and Alabama-Mississippi MS members for your services and support. Also, I would like to thank artists, Ayatti Hatcher and Christopher Windfield, as well as the purchasers of each piece of art for their contributions. Last, I would like to give a special thanks to every person who attended the Gala. I am still overwhelmed with the success of the event. Thank you for joining me in efforts to support this great movement within Multiple Sclerosis. It gives me great pleasure to continue my mission and legacy of giving back annually through the Creating Change Campaign. I look forward to seeing all my supporters and more at the 2nd Annual event. http://www.nationalmssociety.org/Chapters/ALC
