5th Annual Creating Change Campaign

Diabetes Awareness

On Saturday, March 16, 2019 Creating Change Campaign hosted a Black-Tie Gala fundraiser to surge efforts towards the awareness of Diabetes, which impacts an estimated 20.8 million Americans.  Approximately 346,500 Mississippians have Diabetes and 115,000 are unaware they have the disease.

The evening began with glamorous moments along the red carpet captured by FulloFlava Photography, leading into a gracious cocktail hour sponsored by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, and hosted by Mr. Terryal Thomas.  Following an appetizing meal, guest speaker Desiree Barron, addressed the audience to share her personal testimony of living with Diabetes.  The proceeds raised were donated to the Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi to help further their efforts in support and research of Diabetes.

We are very grateful for each individual who supported the 5th Annual Creating Change Campaign Gala. We would like to thank our sponsors Kency Medical Services PLLC, Code Grey Fitness, Head to Toe Physical Therapy, Body in Balance Healthcare, Jamaa Inc., and Tito’s Handmade Vodka, as well as all other organizations involved.  Also, special thank you to artist Christopher Windfield, DJ Java, Camera Man 3D videography, and the purchasers of art contributions.  We look forward to your attendance and involvement with this year’s 6th Annual Creating Change Campaign Gala!
